1 - 7 September 2020 Stresa Festival

Tuesday 1 September 2020 to Monday 7 September 2020

Stresa is situated on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, one of the most beautiful locations in Italy. The International Festival runs for a week in early September and this year features music from the Baroque and Classical periods, including an all-Beethoven programme celebrating the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth. As well as enjoying five concerts, we will explore the charming Borromean Islands (with the opportunity for lunch under your own arrangements at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the Isola Pescatore) and take the cable car to Mottarone which affords panoramic views over Stresa and the Lake. We will stay in the Regina Palace Hotel which is a short walk from the Stresa Convention Centre where three of the concerts take place, and is also close to Stresa Pier from where we will take the boat to two concerts at the Hermitage across the Lake.
